It’s that time of year, and one of the highlights of the Fall auction season is upon us— The Birthday Auction! This year, it is actually on my Birthday, November 21. I will be turning 48 years old, inching ever so slowly to 50, one fine wine at a time! November is an exciting month for us in general with back-to-back weekend auctions in Hong Kong, starting with our second-ever spirits only auction followed closely by the legendary wines direct from the cellar of Domaine Jean-Louis Chave on November 9th! We will be back in New York City on Thursday, November 21st at 3pm at Vaucluse for what is always one of the great celebrations of the year. If there is one sale for which you want to go out of your way and attend in person this season, this is it! There is nearly $5 million of fine and rare wine in this exceptional catalog; a sale once again brimming with Burgundy, bursting with Bordeaux, and full of our favorites from Italy, California, Champagne, the Rhône and more.
